🌟 About the Role

Are you passionate about inspiring young writers? We are looking for an experienced Creative & Continuous Writing Expert with expertise in the UK National Curriculum to deliver engaging, interactive and high-impact writing sessions. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing students' creativity, strengthening writing skills and preparing learners for 11+ English Creative Writing and other UK school assessments.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

✨ Deliver engaging online classes in Creative & Continuous Writing for UK curriculum students.
✨ Teach a wide range of writing styles, including :-

Creative Writing
Story & Narrative Writing
Descriptive & Persuasive Writing
Discursive Writing
Letter & Diary Writing
Article & Report Writing
Poetry & Character Development

✨ Prepare students for 11+ Entrance Exams, grammar school admissions, scholarships, and school assessments.
✨ Create creative writing prompts, worksheets, lesson plans, assignments and personalized learning resources.
✨ Provide detailed feedback, editing, proofreading and writing improvement strategies.
✨ Encourage independent thinking, storytelling, vocabulary enhancement and confidence in written communication.
✨ Conduct engaging one-to-one and small-group online sessions.

🔥 Required Skills & Qualifications

✅ Proven experience teaching Creative & Continuous Writing under the UK National Curriculum.
✅ Strong understanding of Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6) and Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9) writing expectations.
✅ Expertise in grammar, punctuation, editing, proofreading and structured writing techniques.
✅ Experience preparing students for 11+ English Creative Writing, grammar school entrance exams and independent school assessments.
✅ Ability to design engaging worksheets, writing activities and personalized learning plans.
✅ Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
✅ Prior online teaching experience with one-to-one or small-group classes.

⭐ Preferred Skills

⭐ Experience working with EdTech platforms.
⭐ Familiarity with UK assessment criteria and creative writing marking standards.
⭐ Experience mentoring students for competitive school entrance examinations.
⭐ Passion for storytelling, student engagement and creative learning.
