🔹 Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Director of Program Management to lead large-scale technology portfolios, drive strategic execution, manage external vendors and oversee multimillion-dollar budgets.

The ideal candidate will combine strong program management, financial acumen, procurement expertise and AI-powered operational capabilities to transform complex business initiatives into measurable results.

This is a high-ownership leadership role requiring someone who can turn portfolio insights into executive-level decisions, optimize vendor performance, control costs and accelerate delivery.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Lead and monitor 10+ concurrent strategic initiatives through AI-powered portfolio dashboards.

Manage 5+ external technology vendors and evaluate their performance against contractual commitments.

Develop executive dashboards tracking project milestones, budget utilization, delivery performance, risks and blockers.

Drive technology procurement, competitive bidding, vendor evaluation, negotiations and selection.

Develop and manage Statements of Work (SOWs), SLAs, acceptance criteria and milestone-based payment structures.

Oversee contracts, invoices, budget allocation and commercial compliance.

Identify cost-saving opportunities, delivery gaps and operational risks.

Leverage AI tools for data analysis, anomaly detection, vendor evaluation, reporting and workflow optimization.

Present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.

🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ concurrent initiatives managed at portfolio level.

Minimum $5M budget ownership or financial responsibility.

Experience managing 5+ external technology vendors simultaneously.

Strong expertise in Program Management, Portfolio Management and Project Governance.

Hands-on experience with Technology Procurement, Vendor Management and Contract Negotiation.

Expertise in Budget Management, Financial Analysis and Cost Optimization.

Experience developing SOWs, SLAs, KPIs and vendor performance scorecards.

Strong knowledge of AI-powered productivity and analytical tools.

Proficiency in Jira, Linear or similar project management platforms.

Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management and strategic decision-making skills.

Ability to work in US business hours.

🔹 Preferred Experience

Background in EdTech, AI/ML, Technology, or Management Consulting.

Experience handling large-scale technology portfolios and strategic vendor partnerships.

Proven track record of influencing C-suite decisions through data-driven insights.
