About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Defense Technology and National Security professionals with backgrounds in government, defense, military science and technology programs or advanced technical operations.

In this role, you will apply your expertise in defense systems, emerging technologies and national security programs to support AI training and evaluation projects.

You will assess complex technical scenarios, evaluate analytical reasoning and contribute expert insights to improve AI systems' understanding of advanced technologies and national security decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Develop realistic, unclassified scenarios involving national security technologies and defense systems.

Review technical content for accuracy, relevance and real-world applicability.

Evaluate complex technical decisions and identify gaps, inconsistencies and unsupported assumptions.

Assess technology development, systems integration and defense program requirements.

Provide structured technical feedback and clear written assessments.

Support AI model training, evaluation and benchmarking through domain expertise.

Required Qualifications

Significant professional experience in government or defense science and technology programs, national security systems or advanced technical operations.

Strong understanding of defense technology, technical program management and complex systems.

Experience evaluating technical information and applying analytical judgment.

Excellent critical-thinking, research and technical writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with the Department of Defense (DoD), DARPA, national laboratories, intelligence organizations or allied government institutions.

Experience in advanced defense technologies, national security research, R&D or technical capability assessments.

Background in systems engineering, technical leadership or strategic technology planning.

Experience preparing technical assessments, strategic recommendations or executive-level briefings.

Familiarity with emerging technologies and their national security implications.
