🎨 About the Role

Are you passionate about transforming creative concepts into visually compelling spaces? We are looking for experienced Set & Production Design Experts with a strong background in designing, building and decorating sets for film, television, theatre, commercials, events or photography.

In this role, you will evaluate production designs, review creative briefs and scripts and assess how effectively a set supports the story, camera requirements, available space and production budget.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

Review and evaluate set designs, production concepts, room layouts and creative briefs.

Assess design elements such as scale, spatial planning, sightlines, colour schemes, materials and aesthetics.

Evaluate how effectively a set functions for actors, camera positioning and production requirements.

Identify practical design issues, unrealistic materials, period inaccuracies and construction challenges.

Compare alternative designs and determine their suitability against scripts, creative direction and budgets.

Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining design decisions and recommendations.

🛠️ Required Skills & Expertise

Design Software :- SketchUp, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Rhino, Photoshop.

Core Expertise :- Set Design, Production Design, Art Direction, Set Decoration, Spatial Planning.

Creative Skills :- Script Interpretation, Creative Brief Analysis, Visual Storytelling, Colour & Material Selection.

Technical Skills :- Technical Drafting, Layout Planning, Scale Assessment, Sightline Evaluation.

Communication :- Strong written English and the ability to explain creative and technical decisions.

👤 Ideal Candidate Profile

Professional experience as a Production Designer, Set Designer, Art Director, Set Decorator, Assistant Art Director or Theatre Designer.

Hands-on experience working on real productions, including scripts, creative briefs, budgets, set construction, shoots or installations.

Understanding of camera requirements, production workflows, spatial functionality and visual storytelling.

Ability to critically evaluate designs and provide practical, well-reasoned feedback.

A strong creative eye combined with technical and production knowledge.
