Lead the research vision behind the next generation of intelligent robots.

As VP of Robotics Research, you’ll lead a high-caliber research team working at the intersection of Robotics, Embodied AI, Perception, Robot Learning, Multimodal Data and Foundation Models.

You’ll define how robotics data is collected, represented, evaluated and scaled—building the data foundations that enable increasingly capable robotic systems.

🧠 What You’ll Drive

🔹 Define research strategy for robotics data, embodied AI & robot learning
🔹 Lead research across perception, manipulation, imitation learning & reinforcement learning
🔹 Design large-scale robotics datasets & multimodal data pipelines
🔹 Develop data collection strategies using teleoperation, human demonstrations, simulation & autonomous exploration
🔹 Define task taxonomies, annotation schemas, quality standards & evaluation frameworks
🔹 Build and mentor an exceptional Robotics Research team
🔹 Translate research objectives into scalable, production-ready robotics data systems
🔹 Establish benchmarks to measure and improve robot learning performance
🔹 Collaborate across Research, Engineering, Product & Operations

🔬 What We’re Looking For

✅ Significant experience in Robotics Research, Embodied AI, Robot Learning or Robotics Software Engineering
✅ Leadership experience managing or mentoring technical/research teams
✅ Strong expertise in robot perception, manipulation, control, IL, RL or robotics foundation models
✅ Deep understanding of robotics data pipelines, multimodal datasets & data infrastructure
✅ Experience designing large-scale robotics datasets & data collection systems
✅ Ability to bridge cutting-edge research with scalable engineering

⭐ Preferred

🎓 Master’s / PhD in Robotics, CS, AI, EE or related field
📚 Publications at CoRL, RSS, ICRA, IROS, NeurIPS, ICML or CVPR
🦾 Experience with ROS/ROS2, Isaac Lab, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Habitat or ManiSkill
🌐 Open-source contributions or impactful work in Embodied AI
