🌟 ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Facultyzone Talent Acquisition is looking for experienced CAD and digital manufacturing professionals to contribute their domain expertise to an advanced AI training and evaluation project.

This opportunity is designed for professionals who understand how engineering concepts translate into practical design and manufacturing workflows. You will help assess AI-generated outputs, identify technical inaccuracies and establish quality standards that enable AI systems to produce more reliable engineering and manufacturing recommendations.

Prior AI experience is not mandatory. Your practical CAD and manufacturing expertise is what matters most.

🔧 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate AI-generated CAD-related responses, workflows, design recommendations and manufacturing scenarios for technical accuracy.
Provide expert-level feedback on design-to-manufacturing processes, including manufacturability, workflow efficiency and practical implementation.
Review CAD workflows involving modelling, assemblies, drawings, design modifications and engineering documentation.
Assess manufacturing methodologies with particular relevance to CAM, CNC, machining, tooling and digital manufacturing environments.
Identify design or process inconsistencies and explain the appropriate technical approach.
Develop structured evaluation criteria for measuring the accuracy, efficiency, feasibility and quality of AI-generated engineering outputs.
Validate and refine technical rubrics used to evaluate AI reasoning within CAD and manufacturing use cases.
Compare alternative workflows and determine the most technically appropriate solution based on real-world engineering practices.
Document observations and recommendations with clear technical reasoning.

🎯 REQUIRED EXPERTISE

Candidates should possess hands-on experience with at least one professional CAD environment, such as :-

AutoCAD
Autodesk Fusion 360
SolidWorks
Autodesk Inventor
CATIA
Creo
Onshape
FreeCAD
Other comparable CAD platforms
Candidates should demonstrate :-
Strong understanding of 3D modelling and CAD-based design workflows.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical design information.
Practical understanding of design considerations affecting manufacturing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to explain technical decisions clearly and systematically.
High attention to detail when reviewing engineering outputs.

⭐ PREFERRED BACKGROUND

The following experience will be highly valued :-

Autodesk ecosystem expertise, particularly Fusion 360 or AutoCAD.
CAM programming or workflow experience.
CNC machining or manufacturing-process knowledge.
Digital manufacturing / production engineering exposure.
Experience with generative design or AI-assisted engineering tools.
Python or scripting knowledge.
Experience creating technical assessment frameworks, checklists, or evaluation rubrics.
Familiarity with LLMs or AI-generated technical content.

💰 COMPENSATION

₹4,000 – ₹8,000 per hour 

Compensation is project/output-based and may vary according to task complexity, expertise and successful completion of project requirements.
