🔬 ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a passionate and academically strong General Biology Educator with expertise in the Australian Curriculum to deliver engaging, concept-driven learning experiences to students.

The ideal candidate should be confident in teaching Biology concepts, simplifying complex scientific topics, and creating an interactive virtual classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, scientific reasoning and application-based learning.

🎯 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver high-quality online Biology lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
Teach Biology concepts in a clear, structured and engaging manner.
Develop interactive, student-centric lessons using real-world examples and practical applications.
Explain complex biological concepts through diagrams, models, visualizations and relevant learning resources.
Encourage students to develop scientific thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Assess student understanding through quizzes, assignments, discussions, and formative assessments.
Identify learning gaps and provide personalized academic support.
Maintain an engaging and collaborative virtual classroom environment.
Track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Adapt teaching strategies according to different learning levels and student needs.
Collaborate with academic teams to continuously improve lesson quality and learning outcomes.

🌟 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Strong academic background in Biology / Life Sciences / Biological Sciences or a related field.
Strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum.
Excellent conceptual knowledge of General Biology.
Prior experience in online teaching / tutoring / academic mentoring is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for students.
Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
Comfortable using digital teaching tools and virtual classroom platforms.
Passion for teaching, mentoring, and creating meaningful learning experiences.
Ability to work consistently during the 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM IST shift.
