📐 ABOUT THE ROLE

FZTA is looking for passionate and skilled Online Mathematics Mentors to deliver engaging, concept-driven and personalized online learning experiences to students aged 6–17 years.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in school-level Mathematics, excellent English communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts through interactive, practical and student-centric teaching.

You will help learners build mathematical confidence, logical reasoning, analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities and conceptual clarity while supporting their academic goals.

The role involves teaching Mathematics aligned with US school curriculum and Common Core standards, with exposure to :-

🔹 Advanced / Accelerated Mathematics
🔹 Olympiad-oriented Mathematics

Experience with US Common Core Mathematics or international curricula will be an added advantage.

🎯 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct engaging live online Mathematics classes for school-age learners.
• Deliver concept-focused lessons aligned with students’ grade levels and learning goals.
• Explain mathematical concepts using real-world examples, activities and visual methods.
• Strengthen students’ problem-solving, analytical and logical reasoning skills.
• Identify learning gaps and provide personalized academic support.
• Adapt teaching strategies according to individual learning styles and abilities.
• Incorporate mental maths, calculation strategies and advanced problem-solving techniques where appropriate.
• Prepare lesson plans, practice activities and learning materials.
• Monitor student performance, participation and academic progress.
• Provide constructive and timely feedback to learners.
• Maintain an engaging, inclusive and positive virtual classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the academic team to continuously improve teaching resources and learning outcomes.

✅ ELIGIBILITY & SKILLS

✔ Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, Statistics or a related field.

✔ Strong command of K–12 / school-level Mathematics.

✔ Good understanding of US Common Core Mathematics is preferred.

✔ Strong conceptual knowledge of Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Ratios, Fractions and Problem Solving.

✔ Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

✔ Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple, clear and engaging manner.

✔ Strong analytical, logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.

✔ Prior experience in online teaching, tutoring, mentoring or academic training is preferred.

✔ Experience teaching US students / international students will be an advantage.

✔ Comfortable using online teaching platforms, digital whiteboards and educational technology tools.

✔ Patient, enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about working with children and teenagers.

✔ Reliable laptop/desktop, high-speed internet and a suitable work-from-home teaching setup.

✔ Willingness to work during the US Shift: 2:30 AM – 8:30 AM IST.
