FZTA is looking for a highly capable .NET Backend Engineer to contribute to technology projects focused on improving and evaluating next-generation AI systems.

This opportunity is ideal for developers with strong hands-on backend expertise who enjoy solving technical problems and working with real-world software engineering scenarios.

AI experience is not mandatory. Your software development expertise is what matters.

🛠️ What You'll Work On
Build and enhance backend applications using C# and .NET.
Develop efficient and scalable REST APIs and web services.
Work with MySQL for database development, data handling and optimization.
Review existing backend components and identify opportunities for improvement.
Investigate technical issues and implement effective solutions.
Improve application speed, scalability, reliability and security.
Work closely with technical stakeholders to understand requirements.
Maintain clear technical documentation and development standards.
Contribute ideas that improve engineering workflows and code quality.

🎯 What We're Looking For
Strong hands-on experience with C# programming.
Advanced knowledge of .NET / .NET Core.
Good command of MySQL, including database design and query optimization.
Experience building RESTful APIs / Web APIs.
Strong understanding of backend architecture and server-side development.
Ability to write structured, reusable, and maintainable code.
Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Ability to independently manage tasks in a remote environment.

🌟 Good to Have
Exposure to AWS, Azure or Google Cloud (GCP).
Experience with cloud-based application deployment.
Understanding of distributed applications or scalable systems.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Previous experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams.
Exposure to technology-focused or fast-paced development environments.
